During our first site visit we uncovered an extremely windy site! We established that our design must sufficiently provide protection for the students from the harsh elements, particularly in the windy months, whilst maximise Northern orientation. We also decided to emphasise the entrance at the South end of the school to compensate for the traffic situation experienced on Grossman's Rd during peak pick-up/drop-off times. The existing council building will be kept to promote the sustainability fo the proposed development.
